What is Golfer Bank?
A world first activity based rewards platform with a new ‘Golf Points Currency’, where golfers can deposit points for any golf activity, to start building their account balances and benefit in fun exciting ways. A golf score is now as valuable as money, as every golfer can convert scorecards and golf activities to points and make a deposit, rather than throwing the scorecard in the trash. You wouldn't throw cash in the trash would you?
How do I build up my points balance?
- Convert golf activities to Golfer Bank points and deposit those points. Deposit up to 50 previous golf activities for free. Each Friday log in and tick which golf activities you participated in for the last week. Every deposit gives you an entry into monthly point draws or prize draws, depending on your subscription.
- Challenge the Golfer Bank community and win points from other golfers. The challenge can be anything you can think of that is golf related. You both determine the terms and conditions of the challenge, so let's see what weird and wonderful challenges appear.
- Paid subscribers can win monthly Point Draws. Every deposit equals one (1) entry into this draw. So the more activities you deposit in a calendar month, the more entries you receive. This can take you from last to first place on the leader-board in one go.
What happens when you deposit a score?
- There are 3 basic types of deposits to keep things simple in the first year.
(1) Any game of Top Golf, Golf X, golf indoor simulator, or driving range is worth 20 x Points.
(2) Any social round of 9 or 18 hole golf is worth 30 x Points.
(3) Any tournament score that is handicap based, can be converted to points. 1 x Stableford Point = 1x Golfer Bank Point. (It's easy to covert STROKE scores to Stableford Points.)
- Golfers can deposit previous golf activities played, up to the deposit limit.
- All points deposited will be verified by entering the date, time and location on our tee sheet, on the VERIFY page.
- All transactions on Golfer Bank, including deposits attract a bank fee of two (2) Points. E.G. If you deposit 36 points then 2 points will go the bank and 34 points will go into your account. Points accumulated by the bank, go towards the monthly Point Draws and the end of season Tournament.
How do I win monthly Prize and Point Draws?
- Every deposit (free or subscription) gives you ONE entry in the monthly PRIZE Draw, where there are up to 10 specific prizes are awarded each month, valued at up to $1,200 each.
- Every deposit from a subscription, gives you ONE entry in the monthly POINT Draw, where there are Golf Points to be won to boost account balances. Any points won in this draw can be sold to the bank. The value of each point will be published monthly.
- Points can be purchased from time to time when the bank releases points for sale to top up your account if you have hit your deposit limit.
What is a Challenge?
A Golfer Bank member can challenge any other member for any points in a players account as long as the challenge is “golf related”. Each challenge SENT costs two points. Each challenge ACCEPTED costs two points. The terms and conditions of any challenge are initially written by the challenger and can be edited by both players until accepted. We can't wait to see what some of the funnier challenges offered will be! Both players must agree who won the challenge and then the points are transferred to the winners account. You can have as many challenges as you like going at once but there is a limit of 50 points per challenge for free deposits.
Can I spend and sell my points?
- When the platform hits 1 million points deposited, Golfer Bank will announce the SPEND PARTNERS. Every member of Golfer Bank will be able to spend points in their accounts, with Golfer bank Spend Partners. Each Partner will advertise the value of a point, which can change on a monthly basis.
- Points won in the monthly POINT DRAWS can be sold to bank. The bank will publish the value of a point for sale, each month.
The end of Season Skins Tournament?
The end of season Skins Tournament will be held in July 2025. To be invited you must qualify, by being in the top 40 on the leader-board by the end of April 2025. The leader-board shows players points balances on a daily basis. The inaugural tournament will be held on a week day. More information to follow.
What about players who make up false scores in tournaments?
What about them? Let us know how you think people can cheat the system to get ahead of you on the leader board to qualify for the top 40? We also award points to any member who has proof another member has cheated. All tournaments need to have deposits verified by other members, which is in the spirit of golf. If one person cheats and another member verifies the activity, then both risk losing all their points and their accounts being closed. We will check deposits when players want to use points for spending, challenges, and selling points, at our discretion.
